Grace Missionary Society currently has two weekly schools, Nadezhda and Kotel, and two one-day-a-week schools, Kolyanova and Strupets. Many minorities do not attend public school. Public education is taught in the Bulgarian language. Many minorities speak their own ethnic language such as Roma, Turkish and Greek. Grace Academies give students a head start for obtaining an education.  Grace is always looking for opportunities to open new schools and expand current operations.

Grace Academy I in Nadezhda District Sliven, Bulgaria, meets five days each week from September 1 through the middle of June. From 20-22 students are taught classroom behavior, hygiene, basic reading and writing, Christian life principles, and the Bulgarian language. Each student receives a daily meal. Aksenia Encheva has been teaching this school for 18 years. Her assistant Kapka allows classes to meet in a separated room in her home. She assists new students and the teacher. She also prepares lunch each day.

Grace Academy II in Kotel, Bulgaria, meets three days each week. Taught by Ruji and Schnezha, classes meet in a church building. Children are given a nutritious meal each class day. Children learn basic cognitive skills through art. They also learn math, reading, writing, classroom behavior, hygiene, and Christian life principles. Ruji and Schnezha work very hard to make sure each student in Grace Academy II and others in their village are able to go to a summer camp.

Strupets and Kolyanova are small villages near Sliven, Bulgaria. When a teacher who traveled to these villages and others to teach children had a stroke last year, two retired ladies stepped up to keep the one-day schools going in Strupets and Kolyanova. The ladies use scripture memorization as a basis to build other learning skills such as reading, writing and speaking for an audience.
